Residents are advised that Council has been notified that there are areas of thin ice and/or open water beginning to appear on the lake, particularly around sand bars and structures in the water.
While Council has not identified any current risk areas along our shoreline, residents are reminded to use caution when participating in activities on the lake, particularly during changing weather conditions which may weaken the ice.
