Community Reclamation Update – FlexNetworks Fibre Internet – Last Mountain Lake Communities
With spring now upon us, we have completed the first round of spring inspections. The first step is to add fill for any areas that have setled significantly over the winter months. Our contractors Ryko and RNR Underground have already started and will be out from April 25-28 to continue. We appreciate your patience as they complete their work. Restoration efforts will continue over the coming months. Minor settling/fill issues around flower pots/vaults will be dealt with during service drop installs as they must dig those areas out again to complete that work.
Please report any issues you may find to us by email at home@flexnetworks.ca as that will create a service request to track the corrections. As well, we would ask the residents of the community to do the same.
As for any reclamation requests needed in yards already completed, to be completed soon or planning to have done: Our service drop installation crews (the team that brings the fibre line to people’s homes from the public easement area by way or an underground direction drill or small vibratory drill) will be in many communities all summer finishing up installs. So, if residents have any concerns about a previous install or would like to take advantage of the highly subsidized installation rate (compliments of the Universal Broadband Fund) it’s important they reach out to us this year as that subsidy program is set to expire in 2025. Whether residents are ready to jump on board now or in the near future or just curious about what fibre optic can do for them. We need to hear from them as we can lock in this rate. They can call or text us at 306.979.6733 or fill out this form and our team will contact them https://flexnetworks.ca/get-fibre/ (installs are either free or at most $250 under this program and we also offer seasonal packages for people who don’t live at the lake year round)
We would like to thank all you for your interest and confidence in our abilities to deliver these services to your community. We look forward to a long-term working relationship and excited to see many of you again this year.
Please also feel free to reach out directly to me if there are any questions or concerns you might have. Otherwise, this link is a great place you can reference throughout the year about updates on the construction front. https://flexnetworks.ca/construction/
Warmest Regards, your FlexNetworks team

Notice of SaskPower Tree Trimming (2025)
In the fall of 2024, Council asked SaskPower to assess where trees growing around the power lines in the village needed trimming. Trimming is necessary to ensure reliability of service and for safety purposes.
Over the past two weeks, a contractor representing SaskPower has been conducting this assessment throughout the village. While most of the trimming required is around the primary line, on the road allowance, some trimming of trees interacting with the secondary (service) lines into properties may also be required. Residents will be contacted to discuss the needs on their property, where appropriate. Some residents have already been contacted.
The contractor conducting the assessment is aware of the village’s desire to maintain our tree canopy as much as possible.
Council has been advised that the work is likely to take place in the fall of 2025.
